Piasecki Aircraft Corporation was recently recognized for its modular pod, the Mobile Multiple Mission Module (M4), that is being used by the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) to evaluate Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) technologies in a relevant environment. The M4 was designed to accommodate cargo, patients, troops or a combination of any of these with its rapidly reconfigurable interior. It is designed and built to be airworthy and is planned to be flown using the Aerial Reconfigurable Embedded System (ARES) in 2023.
